In an industry design breakthrough, Moss Exhibits &
Events has introduced its patent-pending Curv-Edge™ technology, resulting in the
first large custom 3D shapes to have crisp squared edges along with curves and
Curv-Edge allows Moss Groove™ SEG tension fabric to be used with Moss Classic™ Round Tube construction. Now, flowing organic lines combine with precise hard edges to bring the designer’s sophisticated vision to life.
“We’re always interested in pushing the boundaries of our widely-used technologies. As the inventor of tension fabric exhibit design, this new capability marries the versatility and design strengths of both pillowcase frame and fabric design and SEG design to come up with something that’s never been done before,” said Dan Patterson, President & CEO of Moss Exhibits & Events.
“This opens the door for even bolder concepts for exhibit designers.”
Curv-Edge employs a Moss-engineered extrusion ideal for flexibility, strength and durability. Dynamic twists with curved structures are possible, allowing exhibit builders and their customers to create unprecedented structures with 4 or more sides, creating even pentagonal, hexagonal and other dramatic shapes.
Installation and reuse of Curv-Edge structures brings a newfound efficiency, with individually replaceable SEG panels for complex shapes. All or some panels can be reprinted and quickly changed out for new messaging and design aesthetics.
Unveiled at EXHIBITORLIVE, Curv-Edge advances from beta availability in April 2015.
